This Canadian born stylist has been in hair biz since 2002 and at the West End Salon since 2005. Her large referral-based clientele is a testimony to her talent and dedication to the industry. Known for her ability to deliver the most natural looking highlights, Naomi can turn a dull blond into a sun-kissed beauty in a matter of two hours. Much of Thomas’s career is focused on education. This mother of three has been styling hair since 1988 residing at the West End Salon for the last nine years. She specializes in precision haircutting, color, and highlighting. Gaylyn sincere personality ensures she will never lead you astray as she stands by her work always delivering beautiful lasting results.
Meg
Born and raised outside Chicago, Meg has been styling hair since 1990. No muss mo fuss with this veteran stylist. She’ll give you the cut and color you desire with a side of sarcasm that keeps her loyal clientele coming back year after year. Meg is the only stylist who has been at this location since opening its doors ten years ago. Known to most little ones as Chi Chi, Meg has a great rapport with her clients’ kids; often referred to as a “second mom”.
Along with working full time at the salon, Meg has recently started her own part-time catering business. For years she has been bringing her delicious creations into the salon and recommending recipes to our clients.

Valerie
Valerie Duncan is a Boulder native who has been providing excellent service to her valued clientele since 2004. Her expertise in providing high fashion hair design, hair color, and makeup is what gives her clients confidence, and ensures that their aesthetic needs are always satisfied.
Valerie thrives on advancing her education and skill level. You can be sure she will always provide the newest trends, techniques & products to her clients. She has taken advanced education courses in New York City, Minneapolis, and Denver. She has trained under leaders of the industry such as the creator of Aveda, Horst Rechelbacher. She has also had the opportunity to train with Nick Arrojo of the makeover show "What Not To Wear" airing on TLC. She has learned the ins & outs of multiple color & product lines. Valerie has also taken several advanced cutting classes to master the art of razor and scissor cutting, as well as classes for advanced hair color techniques, which enable her to produce the perfect color and cut to fit your style.

Jessica is our esthetician. She was trained in a medical spa setting and is passionate about both treatment and relaxation based services. Luke (Owner)
A Boulder native, CU graduate, and sales consultant at Webroot Software, Luke is co-owner of The West End Salon and is also married to Deandra. You can always find Luke playing softball during the summer, at CU football games in the winter, or beside his wife morning, noon and night as her biggest supporter and caretaker through her illness. Although Luke does not cut hair, his ever evolving and trend-setting hair has proven to be West End Salon's best walking advertisement.
Luke is a charming man with a strong work ethic maintaining a 2nd full-time job at Webroot Software, while managing the salon in the evening and weekend hours. He has mastered the ability to manage a group of strong, independent individuals, while maintaining their respect through his benevolent nature. GO CU BUFFS!
Deandra Trevino-Salem
As a Boulder native Deandra was not only the owner and founder of the West End Salon; she was considered one of the top colorist’s in town, from natural blondes to rock-star pink she lovingly and proudly delivered exceptional customized color to her loyal clientele since 2003.
Deandra’s life-long dream of owning a salon came to fruition in 2006 when she and Luke transformed the old 8th Street Salon into The West End Salon, noted as one of the hottest salons in Boulder. She has created an atmosphere where clients and stylists alike can express themselves through hair, music, art, and friendship. Deandra, a head-strong business woman with amazing talent and a heart of gold had a wonderful habit of becoming good friends with everyone she encountered continued her passion for hair design throughout her fight with ovarian cancer.
West End Salon's dedicated stylists and loyal clients together with her family and friends remembers Deandra and is proudly continuing her dream.
